Because we all need a little shout out sometimes, allow us to introduce our Board of Directors!
If you see us around town, make sure you say hello or even strike up a conversation.

I am a retired local business owner, born and raised in Albert County! I enjoy the freedom and beauty of this laid-back and beautiful area. My interests include spending time with my family, taking part in our community, bicycling, kayaking, and most of all hanging out with the grandkids.
Kathy Weir
treasurer
I am a retired Paramedic who decided to go back to work because I love the job and the community folk. In my spare time, I love doing puzzles to de-stress.
Beverly Lockhart
board member
I have lived and worked in Albert County all my life. My husband and I have 3 children, all grown now. Two of the three live here and our oldest resides in NS.
We have been and still are avid snowmobilers. We had a snowmobile business here for 26 years. So....we are very excited about the new bridge going in at Lumsden.
I joined CCRC because I felt it was doing great things for the area and wished to be part of it. I became part of the Welcome Committee in order to meet and welcome newcomers to this beautiful part of the world.
David Jacombs
secretary
David Jacombs is a new member of the community of Fundy Albert. Moving here in 2022 with his wife and 2 sons, David and his family feel they have settled into their forever home in Hopewell Hill. David is an active member of the community, along with being the Secretary for CCRC, he also sits on the subcommittee for the Old Bank Project. David joined Cape Enrage at the beginning of the 2024 season as their newest manager. Under the esteemed guidance of Jim Campbell, David is looking forward to a long career at one of the most iconic tourist destinations in New Brunswick. He sits on the board of the Albert County Tourism Association (ACTA). He participates in the working group for the ongoing Rural Upper Fundy Regional Destination Development. He also sits as the Treasurer for both the Navy League of Canada - Moncton Branch and the Air Cadets of Canada - 101 Moncton Squadron. David's previous work experience includes the Film and TV Industry, the Construction Industry, the Hospitality Industry, and operating his own businesses. David hopes his diverse skills and project management expertise can be an asset to the CCRC organization.
David is a volunteer firefighter and Fire Prevention Officer with the Riverside-Albert Fire Department.
I was born in Riverside and have lived here most of my life. Leaving for schooling and some work opportunities. My wife Rikki and I moved back to the area 20 years ago and have raised our 3 boys in the community. I am currently the Principal at Riverside Consolidated School and joined the CCRC to connect with the community and foster partnerships for the school. I enjoy camping, (the electric fridge and flushable toilet kind) as well as real camping in a tent, riding ATV and SXS, being outdoors, music and dad jokes.
Jeff Keirstead
board member
I started grade 1 at Alma Consolidated and graduated from McNaughton, academic with electrical. Completed two year electronic engineering technology course at NBCC, Moncton. Worked doing commercial electronic environment controls, then the City of Toronto. Finishing up work in Ontario for Coca-Cola.
My wife (of 27 years) and I couldn’t be happier when we moved home in 2020, after 30 years away. Then we were totally fortunate and both our children have moved home also.
I enjoy seeing old friends making new ones. Traveling around and checking out all the places in Albert County I missed when I was younger.
Sean Blewett
board member
I moved to Riverside-Albert from Sussex NB 3 years ago. I joined the CCRC to do what I can to assist in making the area better. I liked what I saw the CCRC accomplishing and the community spirit it enhances. I am looking forward to working on projects and getting to know the people who make up this wonderful community!
